The CID direction has been assumed by Gabriele Scascighini.
Born in 1946, married, father of three children, graduated in curative education (specialized teaching) at the University of Fribourg. Having taught in primary and special schools, he took up the post of school inspector by primary schools.
Since 1980 he has been researching on IT application for specialized pedagogics. After a short period of collaboration with the Fondazione Svizzera per la Teletesi, he has been directing the Centro Informatica Disabilità of the Fondazione Informatica per la Promozione della Persona Disabile.
He has been teaching courses at the Institute of Curative Pedagogics of the University of Fribourg, at the Faculty of Communication of the Free University of Bolzano, at the University of Applied Science of Southern Switzerland and at the ASP Locarno (Pedagogical University). He was rewarded in 1997 by the Swiss Secretariat for Curative Pedagogics with the "Prix Suisse de Pedagogie Curative", for his work on computer application in specialized pedagogics. Next he received in Lugano the "Premio Fondazione Scazziga" and the prize ATED.
He has published "Pedagogia specializzata e informatica", 1995, (with M. Martinoni) and "Comunicazione Alternativa e aumentativa", 1997 edited by dSwiss Secretariat for Curative Pedagogics.
He has been directing the development of numerous software for education, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and assistive and inclusive technology:
Blocks in Motion™, Acces to Math™, BuildAbility™ distributed in the US by Don Johnston Inc. Chicago, Talescan™, a prototype for the c alternative and augmentative communication of tetraplegic children, AdioScan™, Predictor™, Ani..Paint™, Ani..PaintPro™, AccesX™, etc.
He has been coordinating within the Centro Informatica e Disabilità projects of interface devices (Adio™, Digio™, USBKey™, MiniUSBKey™).

born in Geneva on 26.1.62, married, has a daughter, scientific diploma at the Liceo di Mendrisio, Federal diplom at the Swiss Institute of Technology Zurich in Electronics.
He has been researching on technologies for disabled people since 1990, he's owner of a R&D of electronic systems company in Tessin (Meet).
He cooperates with the University of Applied Science of Southern Switzerland, in particular with the Institute for Innovative Technologies DTI.

born in Faido on 21.10.1980. Graduated in physics from the ETH Zurich, with a thesis on String Theory, "D-Branes with travelling waves". He works on a project on robotics with the CID, Idsia and Supsi.
